YVAN LAFONTAINE
TRANSPARENCIA DE LA MEMORIA
FEBRUARY 13 - MARCH 15 | 2020

Yvan LaFontaine's art is the most real of the real that is summoned; his familiar but strange presence. The wonderful presence that is there, multiple, always new, gives us back the passion to see. The familiar, if the eye remains there, if the eye asks, wears a veil of concern, but at the same time it fascinates. The eye pays attention to the proximity of things, and yet this closeness never reveals what is real. Being and objects always remain irreducible for the control of a stopped thought.
