He was born in Oaxaca. His approaches to art were mainly through classical and popular music; His first artistic training was in classical guitar. Later he ventured into the plastic arts, through painting and drawing courses in the Rufino Tamayo Workshop and in other institutions, in Mexico and abroad. Graduated with a degree in Visual and Plastic Arts from the Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado "La Esmeralda". He also has a degree in International Relations from UNIVAS, Oaxaca. His main means of work are drawing, photography, video and sculpture.
«I look for the representation of emotional states, feelings, relationships and concepts in a simple way, I try to remove everything superfluous to achieve a synthetic presentation. I try not to use a single technique, but rather it is the project that gives me the best solution. I like to explore the different possibilities that the artistic process provides me, but once I choose I let it flow to its conclusion. It seems to me that this is the only way to achieve authentic results »
