Cezar Mort began his foray into art at an early age, under the instructions of his father, the plastic artist César Reyes. During his adolescence he was instructed by the master engraver Oswaldo Ramírez and the ceramic master Francisco Guevara Contreras, at the Taller de Artes Plasticas Rufino Tamayo, in the city of Oaxaca. There he learned different engraving techniques, both traditional and experimental.

He entered the plastic arts degree at UABJO, being a student of the teacher Shinzaburo Takeda. He was awarded a scholarship by the art department at Lee University, USA, where he is currently pursuing a degree in Visual Arts and Minor in Music.

En 2018 fue seleccionado por Lee University para continuar sus estudios en Francia. En ese país estuvo bajo la instrucción el artista Gregory Pelizzari, en el aprendizaje y perfeccionamiento de técnicas de pintura renacentista, con enfoque moderno. Actualmente se encuentra produciendo pinturas al óleo, escultura en papel y la cerámica de alta temperatura en el Taller Canela.
